IP Lookup

Analyze IP addresses and domains – location, ISP, ASN and more

Enter IP address or domain (without https://) – leave empty to analyze your own IP

Analyze IP addresses & domains

Every IP address can be mapped to a geographic location, an ISP and an autonomous network (ASN). This is useful for server analysis, security checks or simply understanding where a particular server is physically located.

The lookup accepts both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses as well as domain names — the domain is resolved automatically. If the input field is left empty, your own IP address is analyzed.

The ASN reveals whether an IP belongs to a hosting provider, data center or private internet connection. Geolocation is very reliable at the country level — at city level the deviation can be a few kilometers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the IP Lookup show? +

The IP Lookup shows location (country, region, city), ISP, ASN, timezone, coordinates and domain information for an IP address or domain. If the field is left empty, your own IP is analyzed.

What is an ASN and why do I need it? +

An ASN (Autonomous System Number) uniquely identifies a network on the internet. The ASN reveals whether an IP belongs to a hosting provider, a company or a private internet connection — useful for server analysis and security checks.

How accurate is IP geolocation? +

At the country level, the assignment is very reliable (>99%). At city or region level, the deviation can be several kilometers. VPNs, proxies and CDNs can obscure the actual location.

Can I enter a domain instead of an IP address? +

Yes. The lookup accepts both IPv4 addresses (e.g. 8.8.8.8) and domain names (e.g. google.com). The domain is automatically resolved and the associated IP is analyzed.

Is the IP Lookup free? +

Yes, the IP Lookup is 100% free and usable without registration. Simply enter an IP or domain and analyze.
